If you been here for a while, you know that teaching my children about Jesus Christ with intention is high on my list of things to do. Christmas last year, I shared books that my children still read to this day to learn about Jesus Christ and his birth. Click here to check out those books. Now that it’s Easter, my favorite children’s book publisher has come out with a few new books that the kids have been loving as well! Here are three new books to add to your child’s collection of Christian books!
365 Devotions for Kids
I have a devotional book that I read daily and it always gets my day started right. How brilliant it is to have a devotional book just for kids! My kids look forward to reading this book. We’ve incorporated this book into our morning routine where the kids read one devotional passage during breakfast time before heading to school. We already read the Beginners Bible every night. It’s nice to know we now have a book they can read every morning to get them started on a great note!
The Very First Easter
It’s tricky to teach young kids about how Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again. I attempted this last year and failed miserably. The kids were shocked and responded the me, “Jesus died!” I’m glad that this year we have a book that explains the story of the first Easter with ease to help them understand it better. The children enjoy reading this book to their younger siblings and summarizing the story of Easter to me.
The Beginner’s Bible book collection is a great gift for your child or for a child of a friend or family member. Check out great gift ideas from the Beginner’s Bible Brand here on their Amazon Store!
What books do you have in your children’s book collection that help them understand the story of Jesus Christ?
Until next time,
