How to Wear Fall Colors for the Summer Season

Mommy and Me Edition

I love Summer! Not only is my birthday in the first month of the Summer, but I love hot weather! It’s my chance to show a little skin and wear all my favorite dresses. People tend to wear bright colors in the summer, but guess what? Fall gloomy colors work in the Summer too! Here are three fall colors you can still wear in the summer and still look summertime ready for any occasion.

Black

Black in the Summer?! Yes, I know that sounds like you’re asking to melt your makeup away but you honestly can wear black in the Summer without overheating! My tip for wearing black in the summer is to keep it minimal. A black top with a brighter color works well together without you feeling like you’re soaking up too much sun. This off-the-shoulder black top is perfect for a casual Summer look with denim jeans or skirt.

Neutrals

Neutrals was my all time favorite color to wear in the fall and it’s just as wonderful for the Summertime. When it comes to wearing browns and beige colors, go for a monochrome look with a light top and skirt. Another option is to go the easy route and wear a neutral color jumpsuit or dress.

Olive

Olive is a color that is often overlooked, but I think everyone should debut olive colors this summer! It literally looks good with everything and on everyone. Here, I paired my olive mini dress with strappy nude sandals. Perfect for a day party with friends or a fun day at the park with your family.

What are some Fall or Winter colors that work for the summer?
